International Dog Day 2021: Here’s why dogs are man’s best friend

Dogs are man’s best friend for ages. They jump around, beg for food, convince you to take them for a walk and greet you happily when you arrive home. They do every little thing that brings happiness to our lives.

Since 2004, we celebrate August 26 as International Dog Day. It is dedicated to dogs who, unlike humans, never betray us or play with our feelings. They are quick to understand our emotions. Whenever we feel sad or bad, a dog will surely come and lick us or sit on our lap to comfort us and show their love for us.

On the occasion of International Dog’s Day, we will tell you reasons why dogs are and always will be man’s best friend:

1. Dogs are a great company

Whenever you feel sad and lonely, your dog will always look at you with those big hopeful eyes and will not leave you alone. If they are not around, your house just feels empty without them.

2. Dogs develop a deep connection

A dog will weep for you when you are away and will miss you like anything. And will joyfully jump through the roof when you come back. They develop a deep connection that will never be broken and will love you wholeheartedly.

3. They can do anything for you

Dogs will do anything for their owners and will put their life on the line for you in all kinds of dangerous situations. They will not let anything bad happen to you.

4. They help you to stay healthy

Even in stress, our dogs will always cherish and will lift our spirits up. We are effectively doing something that will improve our mood when we play with dogs or take them for a walk as we are doing exercise in a way.

Apart from it, dogs can also sense diseases such as cancer.  In short, dogs are life-savers.

5. They teach us mandatory lessons about life

We all know that dogs have a great enthusiasm for life. Dogs enjoy every moment of life and see each day as a new wonder. Dogs always inspire us to live a better life and teach us to appreciate each and every moment, no matter how bad the situation is. This is why we share such a deep bond with them.
