I am nervous about designing for Shivarajkumar: Soham Chakraborty

Little did designer Soham Chakraborty know what the future had in store for him when he debuted at the last season of Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week.

Life has definitely taken a twist for this debutant, as it has brought him face to face with Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar. Soham has been signed up to design for the actor’s upcoming film Kshatriya — The Warrior, wherein he plays a gangster.

Sharing his excitement, Soham tells DNA, “The producer and director of the film saw my show at the BFW and came up to me. I couldn’t believe my luck! It was like a dream come true to get the chance to style Shivarajkumar.”

Soham adds, “I am a bit nervous about the job though. I wonder if people will accept him in my look, but at the same time, I am excited too. I have always wanted to design for films and to design for a top actor in my first film is a feat in itself. I have planned a rugged look for him and will use fitted shirts and jackets to enhance the look and accessorise it with metal studs, chains, buttons etc to give it a rough edge. We are also working on a new hair style for Shivarajkumar which will be a surprise for his fans.”
