Decided what to wear for those Christmas and New Year parties yet? DNA creates the perfect look for you this season...
With the festive season comes evening parties. Bringing the spirit to the city, German model Ina Yasmin Wehleit had fun fixing your wardrobe with the perfect evening look. As women, the ways to make a look work are plenty. The style, inspired by a Parisian modern take of the 1920s, was in perfect sync with the upcoming season created a classic yet contemporary and a sophisticated.
All dressed up
Keeping in mind the theme and the party season, Ina slipped into a red dress, a hot number from Aviraté’s Fall Holiday collection; incidentally, it doubled up as a formal and playful outfit at the same time. With a subtle tinge of gold to add vibrancy to the dress, Ina looked right out of a Hollywood film in the dress.
Accessorise me
The main idea was to achieve balance with all the accessories. Given that the dress was pure red, Ina chose to keep it simple and yet extremely glamourous. She wore silver jewellery, slipped on a pair of silver high heels, studded with bits of red stones and grabbed a silver clutch. While it’s easier to identify red with gold, Ina’s choice of silver jewellery made a unique impression.
Colour me pretty
Mannar, of Salon Nayana, maintained a near-natural look on Ina as far as the makeup was concerned. A light foundation was used to cover up any unevenness. He then used eye shadow and mascara for the eyes, a little blush on the cheek and a shade of red for Ina’s lips. All the colours were chosen keeping in mind Ina’s complexion and the dress for the makeover.
Hair forever
To compliment the evening dress, Ina’s hair was set in simple loose curls. To achieve the look, Mannar stuck to a simple wash-dry-curl routine and finished the look with hair spray to ensure minimum management. The curls were allowed to hang lose behind her ears.
