The entrepreneur runs two successful business ventures that are notable names across Chhattisgarh. The first one is Tuteja Academy, a coaching institute that saw the light in 1991. The other is Meenakshi Salon & Academy, a luxury salon and spa that was established in 1996. Behind making these businesses as reputed brands, Mr.Tuteja revealed that it is the consistency that has helped it become the most trusted name across Chhattisgarh.
Tuteja Academy located in Raipur and Bilaspur has played a pivotal role in helping the candidates crack competitive and civil exams including the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC). On the contrary, Meenakshi Salon & Academy, the brainchild of Yash’s mother Meenakshi Tuteja has lured the customers with its premium and high-quality services including makeup, beauty, and spa.
Mr. Tuteja has always had a belief to create a brand rather than being a part of the brand. “There’s a fine line between taking responsibilities on your shoulders to be the best or be in the comfort zone and play it safe. I chose the former one, and it was perhaps the best decision I had ever taken”, says Yash. The entrepreneur has been managing the business operations of Meenakshi Salon & Academy for almost 10 years. Since then, he has expanded a total of 5 salons in Bilaspur, Bhilai and Raipur. As of today, the luxury salon and spa have an employee strength of more than 200 who are highly skilled beauticians, makeup artists and stylists.
Apart from this, his coaching institute conducts online lectures that have got a highly educated and qualified faculty in place. Furthermore, speaking about how he transformed these businesses into reputed brands, Yash replied, “There had always been a pressure to be the best among the rest. To lead the race, we have always welcomed novelty and have embraced the change in terms of innovation. Setting trends rather than following them is what I believe made both the business ventures a massive success.” In the coming time, Yash Tuteja aspires to build the brand value of both the businesses by taking it to a pan India level.
