Free the spirit says rock band Tough On Tobacco

Sidd Coutto had been working on an album for quite some time and there goes a story behind the name of the album— The Happy Goat. The idea was to live in the moment, enjoy it and be happy. “Think of a happy goat that is being fed before being sacrificed. She has no idea she is going to die. We too got to die one day so why not stay happy now!” says Sidd.

So all the songs have been written with the main spirit of the
album. However, Sidd has worked on the whole
album in one shot and in flat 20 days. He has played the guitars, keyboards and drums while recording in the studio. He has also written and sung the songs himself. It’s a one- man show that is now being backed by his band Tough on Tobacco which is now over a year old.

At the point of recording the album though, the band was still nowhere in sight. But now as the album finally releases it has turned into a Tough On Tobacco album which does have the Tough On Tobacco bass guitarist playing on it. “I did all the work on this album at that point because there was no band. It’s fun playing those songs with the band,” says Sidd. Now the band does play a few songs from the album during their live gigs but they end up sounding quite different from the ones in the album.
“Each one adds something to it,” he says.

The album’s first video is called Taxi Song. The song takes the anti-drinking and driving stand and is a message to youngsters on playing it safe and being responsible. “We had fun shooting the video. It’s done in a funny manner and gives the message in the right way,” says Sidd, who is excited that the video will soon hit the music channels and the internet.
