For a he-arty cause

It’s been 10 years of Khushii’s India on Canvas, an art event that brings together eminent personalities with distinguished artists of the country, to raise funds for charity. This year, the auction will be conducted by Sotheby’s India. Vivek Khushalani, President Khushii says, “Witnessing the commitment that Khushii’s teams have, I am doubly convinced about a group effort, and how it contributes towards the development of a society and in turn, an entire nation.” Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store for art lovers:  

“It is for a great cause and I am happy to contribute “ says Ashok Jaipuria, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Ashok, who is the Chairman & Managing Director of Cosmo Films Limited, has collaborated with artist GR Iranna.

“Khushii will always have my support and I am sure that it will continue to flourish and benefit society for all the years to come. It does not only address one aspect of society, but addresses it holistically, from education to hygiene and from gender to community support,” says Ananya Birla, Youth Brand Ambassador I​ndia on Canvas. Ananya and artist Anjolie Ela Menon have worked on the canvas together.

Bose Krishnamachari and Manasi Kirloskar (Vikram Kirloskar’s daughter) have created an artwork together. “Khushii has created a very unique experience of bringing together people from different walks of life, to create art for the betterment of society. It’s a special initiative for a good cause,” says Manasi.  

​Artist Ram Kumar and Pooja Jain of Luxor have come together to create a piece of art. “The concept of bringing art and business on the same canvas is not only unique but it is simply incredible to see the number of business heads and industrialists who have come forward to support 21,000 children from Khushii,” believes Pooja.
