Modeling from a young age, Pinky Campbell is no stranger to the idea of staying fit and looking her best. She shares her fitness fundas with us saying, “Fitness for me is not only about looking good, it keeps me fresh and active through a busy day. I feel working out keeps one young at heart — you end up feeling young and thinking young.”

She follows an unusual idealogy to stay fit. “Whenever I am tired I keep reminding myself that ‘my real workout starts when I want to stop’. This mantra helps me to keep going and over the years my threshold to bear pain has increased.” She believes that being patient in life has paid off for her. Does she prefer the gym or other forms of workout? She says, there are no specifics. “I do go to the gym regularly to lift light weights as I feel muscle-building is very important for the joints, but I also enjoy going for a jog and spinning classes as well.” The most important tip, and the key to being healthy she shares, is that you do not skip your workouts, no matter which form it is in.

Pinky also controls her diet to a large extent and believes that everything should be eaten in moderation. “I am into eating organic food as it helps a lot and adds a great deal to your immunity as well. I avoid excess intake of carbs and protein,” she explains. As far as different forms of working out are concerned she says. “I feel the mix of yoga and contemporary dancing is great fun and also a great way to know your body. Yoga increases flexibility and also to strengthens core muscles. And I love dancing because it releases stress and makes me happy,” she concludes.
