Ragas come alive
Indian raga music thrives on improvisation. No two performances even by the same musician produce the same result. And you can witness the same over the weekend as Windmills hosts a performance by Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya, a leading doyen of Indian classical music and classical fusion. He will be presenting two different styles on each day. If Saturday will be an exploration of Indian fusion, Sunday will see Indian classical presentation. So, go ahaead and enjoy best of both styles.

Who wants to rock?
If you all want to rock and haave some fun, this is the gig you need to be at. Budweiser along with Go Mad Festival is hosting Pentagram Live. The band featuring Randolph, Shiraz, Papal and Vishal, obviously needs no introduction and we all know that they are best when it comes to rock and electronica. And now, they are back with Bloodywood, a 14-track album which is a descriptive of their perspective of real Mumbai.

Foodie says woopie
This one is all about food. Wooplr.com in association with Prost Brewpub is hosting Woopathon, an event for the top foodies over a luncheon on Sunday. An amazing act
All you theatre lovers here’s a treat for you. The NCPA along with Akvarious Productions brings to stage Tuesdays With Morrie, a new Indian version of the international hit based on Mitch Albom’s best-selling book of the same name. The play has also been written by Mitch Albom along with Jeffery Hatcher and the Indian version is directed by Meera Khurana. Tuesdays With Morrie is the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. The script, as opposed to the book lends more dramatic effect to the conversation and circumstances surrounding the characters.
