The artist recently performed at the VH1 Supersonic in Pune.

Asked about his taste in music, Eric said in a statement, "I think in terms of my taste in music, it's anything that sounds fresh, gets me excited or gets me moving. I like original music. I like when people make music.

"You can simply hear that it comes from their hearts, because then they have their own tincture to it, they have their own story to tell," he said.

"I really don't like when people make music that sounds like other people's music. They say they are a big fan of this guy or that guy, but I like it when people tell their own story," Eric said.

When asked to pick top three artists in the world he looks out for, he said, "For me right now, exciting artists, I think it's Adam Beyer. He's doing some really good stuff.

Apart from him, I really like Drum Code and Maceo Plex." Known for his mixing skills and mashups, Eric is a respected figure in the EDM fraternity for the experience he brings for the audience with the spectacular productions of lasers and visuals in show called Epic, which will be entering into its fifth edition in 2017.
