Karl Lagerfeld, designer of fashion house Chanel, has unveiled three new fashionable bottle designs for Diet Coke.

The white, pink and black coloured limited-edition bottles, featuring Lagerfeld's signature silhouette, will hit selves in June, the company announced.

Lagerfeld, 77, famously shed nearly 45kg in 2001, crediting a diet of stewed vegetables and Diet Coke.

"It's exciting for me because I love the idea and as everybody knows, I drink Diet Coke and nothing else, night and day," News.com.au quoted Lagerfeld as saying in a statement about the collaboration.

"It was pure pleasure to do a campaign with people I like and for a product I love," he added.

In addition to designing the bottles, Lagerfeld photographed models Coco Rocha, Heidi Mount and Jeneil Williams in the accompanying advertising campaign.
