For someone who loves holidays that are “pure fun” her anual trips to Brazil (her family stays there) are always special. “My house is in the south of Brazil and if I sit next to the window there and look outside, all I can see is the endless horizon and the sun setting right there...it’s real bliss!” she smiles.
Sight-seeing
"Brazil is a fun place and full of colours and beautiful people," says Bruna. She went about via the subway, taxis, buses. "The beaches are great and among the places one must see is Bahia with its crystal clear waters. You can go fishing anywhere. Not many know that art form of capoeira started here! I also went to Rio De Janeiro, which is also known as the Carnival, it’s like a small bikini party."
At Rio, Bruna also got an aerial view of the statue of Christ The Redeemer. "I went for a helicopter ride as I really wanted to see it from up close. Then nearby, there were the Angra dos Reis islands, which to me are one of the most gorgeous places in the world!"
Food and shopping
“I love Brazilian food, especially the food from south Brazil, which is quite bland and is more like Italian really. My favourite is a steak cooked in earthen pot and carrot cake with chocolate topping.”
Bruna plans go to Brazil soon. “Hopefully, early next year. After all, some of my best memories are made of the place,” she adds.
