Celebrated Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh has suffered head injury after being hit by a car in Kolkata early today.Ghosh was taken to a private hospital nearby where his condition was stated to be stable, his close friend and famous Tollywood comedian Kanchan Mallick said."The doctors said there was a patch in the brain, but he has regained sense and is now under observation. He has had a few stitches. Let's hope for the best," Mallick said.Ghosh came out of a coffee shop following a meeting with a director-friend and was about to get into his car in Golf Green area when he was hit by another vehicle.The 38-year-old, whose films Michael (opposite Naseruddin Shah) by Ribhu Dasgupta and Chaplin by Anindyo Banerjee are eagerly awaited, also underwent a CT Scan, his friends from the Tollygunje film fraternity at the hospital said.
