With the daily stress of working life, making time for a quick trip can be difficult for most. Inevitably, one ends up spending the weekend at home or doing the done-to-death drives to nearby Lonavala or Pune.

SomePlaceElse is planning to change that with their unique getaway trips. Next weekend, they have organised an overnight trip to Murud, a nearby beach destination. Ritika Safar, founder SomePlaceElse explains, "I have previously worked in the travel space and done offbeat trips. I've noticed most people are done with the usual Alibaug beach trips and want something different. Since they're working Monday to Friday, they don't have time to organise a getaway either." The Murud trip combines the fun of camping and outdoors with music. Guests get to pitch their own tent, relax at the beach, enjoy live music by The Loyalists – a Mumbai-based acoustic soft rock band and feast on barbecue food. "It is a fun and intimate setting with just 25 people. The site offers a gorgeous 180 degrees view of the sea and one can totally relax and bond with friends and family. The idea of this trip was to get people to do things they generally can't in the city," adds Ritika.
