Priyanka Chopra Jonas' restaurant Sona in New York is all set to have a grand opening on March 26, 2021.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas surprised everyone by announcing her new venture as a restaurateur. The actor-producer is opening a new eatery in New York City named Sona in New York City. The grand opening of the restaurant is set to be held on March 26, 2021. Sona is co-owned by Maneesh K. Goyal and the chef is Hari Nayak. The whole team created a grand and extravagant restaurant in NYC and people can't wait to taste the Indian food in NYC.
Ahead of that, the team shared a few photos and videos of the interiors of the restaurants which include kitchen, seating area, art installations and more. Moreover, the chef even teased the menu of Sona on his Instagram page.

The entrance at Priyanka Chopra Jonas' New York Restaurant 'Sona' has a roof that has the name printed in Gold. Sona literally means Gold in English.
The art decor of Sona is done by Melissa Bowers. She shared the beautiful photo of the interior decorations at the restaurant and wrote, "New always inspired by old - New Palace - Morvi #artdeco #indodeco #india #dreamprojects #visualstimulation #farrowandball - arsenic."
Mellisa Bowers also shared a photo of the installation of a golden lamp hanging on the wall giving a rustic feel. The restaurant is long in shape with seating arrangements on the side and in the centre. There are golden lamps and columns like seen in Indian palaces. Sona has wooden flooring and every detailing is gold in colour.
The kitchen is neat and has all the modern amenities the chef needs. Chef Hari Nayak shared the photo of the kitchen and wrote, "Calm before the storm... @sonanewyork... Let’s do this! #sonanewyork #practicenight #kitchendairiesatsona."
Priyanka Chopra Jonas' New York Restaurant 'Sona' has a delicious menu which includes The New York Naan/Kulcha, Appams, Coconut based food, Kofta Korma [Dancing Ewe Farms Ricotta Dumpling in Cashew Sauce] accompanied by Chili Cheese Naan to name a few.
Sona has golden pillars going by its name and it's shiny which catches everyone's attention instantly.
The tabletop has green and white themed crockery for the customers and a golden lamp as a centrepiece.
