The third week of February has started with Chaturthi (the fourth day of the bright and dark half of the Moon in every lunar month of the Hindu calendar) and Ravi Yoga of the Shukla Paksha of Magh month. Shukla paksha is the period between the New Moon (Amavasya) to the Full Moon (Poornima).
Devotees are getting the blessings of Vighnaharta Ganesh Ji (Lord Ganesh) on the very first day of the week as Ganesh Jayanti is on Monday (February 15). So, at the end of the week, i.e, on Sunday (February 21), the Secret Navratri (Gupt Navratri) will conclude.

1. Monday, February 15- Ganesh Jayanti
Monday, 15 February 2021, is the Chaturthi of Magh Shukla Paksha, which is celebrated as Ganesh Jayanti. It is also called Vinayaka Chaturthi or Tilkund Chaturthi. Worshiping Lord Ganesha on this day removes all the sufferings and troubles of the devotee.
2. Tuesday, February 16- Basant Panchami
The festival of Basant Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of the Shukla Paksha of Magh month. Saraswati Puja is done on this day. This year, the festival of Basant Panchami will be celebrated in Ravi Yoga, Amrit Yoga, and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga. The auspicious time of Saraswati Puja is from 7 am to 12.35 pm on February 16.
3. Wednesday, February 17- Skand Shashthi
The Shashthi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Magh is known as Skand Shashthi. This day is dedicated to Lord Kartikeya, the eldest son of Lord Shiva as Kartikeya is also known as Skand.

4. Friday, February 19- Achala Saptami
The Saptami of the Shukla Paksha of Magha month is on Friday (19 February), which is celebrated as Achla Saptami. It is also celebrated as Surya Saptami, Surya Jayanti, or Narmada Jayanti. The ritual of 'Snaan Daan' has a special significance on this day. In Maharashtra, Shivaji's birth anniversary is also celebrated on this day.

5. Saturday, February 20- Bhishma Ashtami
The Ashtami of Shukla Paksha of Magh month is called 'Bhishma Ashtami'. Fasting on this auspicious day is said to be fruitful. This year the fast will be observed on Saturday (February 20). According to religious scriptures, on this day Bhishma Pitamah gave up his life at sunrise.

6. Sunday, February 21- Gupt Navratri
Gupt Navrati, which starts on the 'Pratipada' of Shukla Paksha of the Magh month, ends on the 'Navami' date of the Shukla Paksha of the Magh month which falls on Sunday (February 21) this year. In addition to the 9 forms of Goddess Durga, 10 Mahavidyas of Goddess Durga are worshiped during Gupt Navaratri.
