After a long time of cleaning families finally get ready to deck up their houses first. Apart from all the things we love about Diwali, we are especially fond of rangolis and we are sure, so are you!

1. Rangoli with colours/ abeer

The most common of all rangoli designs, for this, you would need a lot of rangoli colours. Create a pattern of your choice (don’t go for the complicated ones if you are a beginner and start sketching). We would also suggest you try drawing the rangoli first and then colouring it.
2. Floral Rangoli

If you want to avoid the hassle of colours and sketching, making floral rangoli full of flowers is the way to go. To even out the pattern, most prefer marigold flowers for its bright and distinct colour and petal shape.
3. Rangoli with flowers, colours and diya

Well, this design is extremely similar to that of the flower rangoli, but in this, you add lit diyas to your rangoli to give it a more festive and welcoming feel.
4. Mirror rangoli

Mirror rangolis can be tricky to work with but they look beautiful once they are completed. Think of a rangoli pattern in mind and go to your nearest stationery shop and buy mirrors of all shapes and sizes. Use colours and flowers to fill the gaps and place simple earthen diyas when the decor is done.
5. Acrylic rangoli

Acrylic Rangoli is one of the easiest to work with as a beginner as you may find ready-made acrylic rangoli in the market, which is not very expensive and are beautiful to look at! However, you can always unveil your inner Picasso and create some yourself if you have the time at home.
