Celebrity weddings may be the stuff fairy tales are made of, but there are rarely happy endings these days.

British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley announced her split from husband Arun Nayar three years after they got married, following media reports linking her to former Australian cricketer Shane Warne.

In 2008, Hollywood star Will Smith said that he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have an open marriage where, in his words, "If it came down to it, then one spouse can say to the other, 'Look, I need to have sex with somebody. I'm not going to if you don't approve of it — but please, approve of it'."

Celebrity marriages, more so in Hollywood, usually last anywhere from a few months to a few years, but seldom last forever these days.
