I’m 20 years old. I get white-coloured pimples on my face and neck, which grow in size and then burst, leaving a red mark. Please suggest a home remedy to get rid of this. What kind of foods should I eat and which I should avoid? —Mihir
I think you should consult a dermatologist to first and foremost confirm that you have acne (pimples). As acne would require proper medical treatment a home remedy won’t be effective. Also, acne has no connection with food but for overall good health you can consult a dietician to give you a healthy meal plan.

I am an 18-year-old boy. I have unwanted growth of hair on my cheeks. I have to do threading regularly to remove it. It is a big problem as I have to go to salon every week. Can you suggest a better solution?
—Dharmendra
The best solution for unwanted hair on the cheeks is to get it permanently reduced by undergoing laser treatment. Laser hair reduction is safe, fast and effective. You can schedule an appointment to know about the procedure in detail.

I’m a 30-year-old woman.During my teenage years, I used a razor a couple of times on my legs. I also used to and still wax my legs and hands. For the past couple of years I have completely stopped using the razor and continue to wax but due to shaving, my legs have become very ugly with ingrowths. The day I wax, my legs look better and it continues to look that way for another two to three days but when my hair starts growing I can’t wear anything short. Also, three years ago, post delivery, I had a regular body massage (done by a woman) with coconut oil and after that massage my legs till today have become very sweaty and itchy due to which I end up scratching them and that’s left some ugly marks on my skin. Please help me.
— Cynthia.
Ingrowth is a very common problem on the legs and the best solution for this is to do Laser Hair reduction. Laser hair treatment will give you complete freedom from waxing and will also help in reducing the marks caused by folliculitis due to waxing.

I am a 17-year-old girl. My complexion is not really dark but my lips are brownish in colour. It looks like I have used lip liner. It’s very embarrassing, please help.
—Surabhi
It’s perfectly normal to have slightly darker lips compared to your complexion. It can happen because of the lips being dry or the use of certain cosmetics which probably have not suited your lips. Use a good lip moisturiser or a lip balm with sun protection to keep them moist.
