The significance of Christmas is known to men and women all over the world. Though it is true that Christmas is celebrated as the day of the birth of Christ into this world, it also symbolises a deep significant truth of spiritual life. Jesus Christ is the very personification of divinity. He was born at a time when ignorance, superstition, greed, hatred and hypocrisy prevailed upon the land. Purity was forgotten and morality was neglected. In the midst of these conditions, Christ was born and He brought about a transformation in people’s lives.

As Christmas approaches, shops on the street arrange dazzling display of the festive presents. Many people go to church to celebrate Lord Jesus’ birth, to pray together, read the bible in praise of Lord. A large number of non-Christian community also take part in the celebration.

Astrologically, it is suggested that if a particular attire or colour is worn on Christmas, it can help you to gain strength, name, fame and comforts for the coming  year. To dress in accordance with zodiac sign is considered to be a good omen.
