Diwali or Deepawali is one of the biggest festivals celebrated all across India. This festival is celebrated as the victory of good over evil, and victory of light over darkness. This festival is considered extremely important as people believe that on this day Lord Rama comes back to his palace after 14 years and it has been believed that Goddess Lakshmi also enters the house on this day as some believe that this day is celebrated as the birthday of Goddess Lakshmi.

It is considered auspicious to buy new goods during the days preceding Diwali. Hindus are busy cleaning and renovating their houses and repairing furniture. People paint their houses decorate them with glittering lights and flowers to welcome Goddess Lakshmi. Pujas takes place with rituals in every household. The whole aura of this festival brings positivity, happiness and compassion.

Our ancient writing suggest that Diwali night is considered holy and auspicious for mantras and sadhnas. Astrologically, any person desirous of money, good-health, children, education, higher studies in India and abroad can recite a particular mantra of a specific planet in a suggestive direction and rosary can bring miracles in life. The process of reciting is to be done only on Diwali night between 11 am to 3 am strictly after taking bath. The Sadhak should wear only white and light coloured clothes.
