Raje had met Singh on Thursday and during the meeting she said that applications of several displaced people are pending in various districts of the state.

Ministry of Home has given the rights of giving citizenship to these displaced people to the district magistrates of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. For the rest of the districts, home secretary of the state has been authorised. The right is valid for two years only as per a gazette notification. Chief minister suggested to extend this by one more year and also requested to give this right to district magistrates of Udaipur, Pali, Jalore, Alwar and Barmer.
