Chief minister Vasundhara Raje held two public meetings on Tuesday during Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra in Bikaner division. During the day, Raje addressed people in Churu and went to Ratangarh later. With this, the Bikaner division tour of the yatra is completed. 

In Churu, Raje paid tribute to the martyrs and also remembered freedom fighter Chandanmal Behad and Hanuman Singh Budhania. Notably, Shekhawati region sends a large number of its youth to armed forces and remembering the martyrs struck a chord with the locals.

She informed the people that state government was giving jobs to the family members of the martyrs of wars between 1947 and 1971. She added that state government had made arrangements for giving 5 % reservation to ex-army men also.

At both these places, Raje spoke about the various developmental works done by the government in last 5 years. She informed the people about the reduction in the VAT rate slashed by her and said that due to this, the reduction in petrol and diesel rates will benefit the common man and farmers. 

Since the area is dominated by agriculture community, Raje also informed about the works done to provide electricity connection under Deendayal Upadhyay Yojana and Saubhagya Yojana. She said that now agriculture connection could be taken by giving Rs500.

Here too, She informed about the water supply that will be made from Tajewala head. She mentioned that with Rs 20,000 crore project, Churu, Jhunjhunu and Sikar district will get water supply. 

Chief minister informed about the various developmental works taken by the government in Churu and said that medical college which was being demanded since last many years was opened which was worth Rs 190 crores and the nature park made with Rs 9 crore is an attraction. She also informed of the works done refor construction in the region. Earlier, when Raje arrived at the stage, she was offered chunri by the party leaders.
