Three Pakistan nationals - a man and two women - who had come to Jaisalmer on a visa were deported to Pakistan by the state police after they were found to be in the prohibited area. The trio had ventured out of the area they were permitted to stay during their time in India. They were arrested and have been sent back on violating visa terms.

The three individuals have been identified as Ameer Baksh, Jamali Mai and Huran Bibi - all natives of Rahimyarkhan in Pakistan. “The governments of both the countries provide visa on arrival to senior citizens.

They had come to India via Atari on a 30-day visa. They were provided permission for Jaisalmer. However violating the permission, they went to Sadrau village which lies in the prohibited area. Information about their location was received and the trio were brought back and questioned by a Joint Interrogation Team,” informed Rajeev Datta, ASP - CID (Border Intelligence).
