Raje reached Merta city after doing darshan at Bhakt Shiromani Meera bai temple and assured the people there that the government was always working to develop the state.
Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Thursday started Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra in Ajmer division where she held three public meetings in Nagaur in Merta City, Pundlota and Parbatsar. Raje reached Merta city after doing darshan at Bhakt Shiromani Meera bai temple and assured the people there that the government was always working to develop the state.
She said that the way tigress fights for her cubs, she too will always fight for the people of the state who are her family. She said that the manner in which a mother cuddles her children, in the same way she cares about the 36 communities of the state.
She had her focus on farming community while speaking in Merta City and informed the people about the various works the government had done for the farmers.
She informed them about the farm loan waiver scheme and also informed about the works the central government had been doing for the people like providing gas cylinders under Ujjwala scheme.
Raje called upon the people to remember the brave soldiers who had conducted the surgical strike and said that Prakram Parv was being celebrated between September 28 and 30 on the second anniversary of surgical strikes. She asked the people to light a diya on this day to remember the bravery of the soldiers.
This will be second such event in the state which is being devoted to the armed forces.
