Terror intel puts Jaipur on alert

The Jaipur police are on high alert and have been conducting surprise checks and have increased its vigilance at various public places, rest houses and inns.

The police have received a terror alert stating that two terrorists have camped in the city who could try to carry out an attack. The city police have received intel in this regard twice in past three days. The first intel was received on Wednesday from army sources after which even senior police officials were out throughout the night conducting patrolling and checks at various rest houses, hotels and inns especially at places like bus stand and railway stations amongst others.

After the first alert, police received another alert from CISF in this regard after which the Jaipur Commissionerate has initiated its efforts on a war footing. Strict checking of vehicles and positioning of officials in civil dress at public places is being conducted while the Abhay Command Centre is also aiding the Jaipur police in its bid. Sources reveal that the police are also looking to secure the petroleum pipeline passing through the Kanota and Bassi area as alert also contains security threat to the pipeline as well.
