Suspected spy held in Pokhran
In the last one year more than 20 spies have been caught.
A suspected spy has been arrested in Pokhran.
According to intelligence agencies, Shahid Jilani, a resident of Silavaton Ka Mohalla of Nagauri Gate of Jodhpur, is being interrogated for any links with Pakistani agencies. He had been living in Pokhran in a rented house for the past one and a half years and despite without any work was leading a luxurious lifestyle.
This aroused suspicion of intelligence agencies and on inspection of his documents discrepancies were found his addresses of Jodhpur and Jaipur..
The address entered in his Aadhaar card is of Jaipur, and the address of Mira Colony Kaylana Road is mentioned is his car papers. He has been living in a rented house in Pokhran from the past one and a half year. The security agencies caught him after seeing his suspicious activities. At present, the police and security agencies are interrogating him and trying to find out if he has connection with ISI or any other organisation of Pakistan.
Significantly, the Pokhran firing range is very important due to military activities. It is one of the main locations of Army and BSF. Intelligence agencies are collecting information about Jilani and his bank accounts are also being investigated.
This is not the first case of suspected spy caught on the Indo-Pak border in Rajasthan. In the last one year more than 20 spies have been caught.
