Sapta Shakti Command to display defence technology equipment in Jaipur Military Station
Organised with the aim of providing an opportunity to experience the developments in the field of defence and security related technology and interact with firms dealing with these type of equipment.
City based Sapta Shakti Command is organising an expo of latest defence technology equipment in Jaipur Military Station on November 16, 2018. Lieutenant General Cherish Mathson, Army Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command will be the chief guest of the expo which will also be attended by senior officers of Army and Para Military Forces and senior civil dignitaries.
Organised with the aim of providing an opportunity to experience the developments in the field of defence and security related technology and interact with firms dealing with these type of equipment. The daylong event will see over 40 firms from across the country showcasing their latest products to include radars, electro optical and night vision devices, security related equipment, communication, fire fighting and humanitarian assistance related equipment.
Besides the civil firms, the Army units will also be displaying in house ideas and innovations during the expo. This being the maiden effort of its kind in the Sapta Shakti Command will be the stepping stone for similar and bigger events in the coming years.
Earlier, The display of state-of-the-art military systems and technologies by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) narrated the saga of self-reliance and national pride with ‘Make in India’ spirit in Defence Expo 2016 during March 28-31 at Goa. Minister Manohar Parrikar inaugurated the ninth edition of this biennial Land, Naval and Internal Homeland Security Systems Exhibition, on March 28 at Naqueri Quitol in Quepem Taluka of South Goa.
The design theme of DRDO Pavilion was ‘Rise of Futurism’. DRDO Futurism emphasises its vision to make India prosperous by establishing world-class science and technology base and provide our Defence Services decisive edge by equipping them with internationally competitive systems and solutions.
