Reaching out: Street plays to spread BJP message across state

After Diwali, BJP will start the street play campaign at all the 200 assembly constituencies across the state.

Assembly election will witness new trends of campaigning. The BJP campaign will highlight welfare schemes central and the state governments through street plays. Street plays will be performed in all the 200 assembly constituencies to counter the Congress and propagate the achievements of BJP governments. BJP has formed a three-member committee for the street play campaign. After Diwali, BJP will start the street play campaign at all the 200 assembly constituencies across the state.

In order to promote the achievements of Central and State Governments on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media platforms, BJP has prepared a team of a large number of party workers. Besides, the social media, the BJP is preparing for the street play campaign to send its message to the common voter. A three-member committee has been constituted under the leadership of chairman of Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi and former councillor Ashok Pandya for street play campaign. On Thursday, the members of the committee saw the demos of the street play team at the party’s state headquarters. Various teams did plays on Bhamashah Yojana, Ujjwala Yojna, Mukhaymantri Jal Swavlamban Yojana, Annapurna Kitchen Scheme and other schemes.

“About 20 teams of different artists from across the city reached BJP headquarters. Team members were shown  the plans of the Central and State Government, which will be promoted through street plays. The Center and the State Governments have started very good plans. The artist will go throughout the state and inform the public about the BJP government’s plans,” said Ashok Pandya,

“At the same time, we will make the public aware about the  policy of the Congress. After Diwali, 200 teams of street play will be launched across the state. Each assembly will have a team in the field. Some assembly areas will also have two teams. We have marked some teams. The state election in-charge Prakash Javadekar will visit Jaipur on October 22. We will finalise the street play team in consultation with him,” said former chairman of JMC finance committee.
