The RCA secretary, Rajendra Singh Nandu, of the Lait Modi camp has denied any possibility of any executive meeting but at the same while planning for the same has commenced by RCA president CP Joshi.

“I will send a proposal to the RCA president for holding the executive meeting in accordance to the association procedure. For now, I am travelling out of Jaipur and will forward the proposal on my return to city,” says the RCA secretary.

However, his plans apparently are out of consideration of the RCA president CP Joshi. The executive committee members close to the RCA president indicate possibilities of the executive meeting to be called somewhere in the next week.

“It’s a decision to be made by the RCA president and most likely the meeting will be called next week,” says an RCA executive committee member close to the RCA president.

Since the election of the RCA executive last year, the association president and secretary have been on loggerheads.

The continuous infighting in the cricket association has caused immense damage to the cause of cricket in the state.

Any executive meeting of the association is also set to witness conflict on participation of RCA joint secretary Mahendra Nahar.

The RCA secretary in an order last month had ‘suspended’ Nahar from his position, this suspension though has been rejected by Nahar who maintains that he still holds the position and will be part of any meeting called by the Joshi camp.

The RCA secretary meanwhile is being sidelined and accused that his powers are being encroached upon by the Joshi camp.

The issue has led to separate executive meetings being called by the secretary and president.
