Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore puts Kotputli on road to development

The faith reposed by people of Kotputli in debutant politician Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has paid off well.

The first time MP from Jaipur Rural and union minister had received the biggest lead from Kotputli, which he has not forgotten by paying special attention to this area. 

Less than a year ago, it was difficult to spot the road between Paota and Nareheda that directly connects 16 gram panchayats. There were so many potholes. Around 50,000 people in the area had been facing huge problem. The dust was spreading menace of tuberculosis and silicosis. It was tough to take patients to hospital on bumpy and dusty road. However, thanks to the Rathore, a 10-metre wide proper road has been built.  

Rathore’s working style and development works in the area suggest that his vision is focused on common man. From his MPLED fund he has constructed a community centre that is being used for wedding and other functions for a meagre rent thus saving poor people huge sum on marriage expenditure.

Ex-army men are in good numbers in this constituency. Post retirement they faced problem of health facilities, Rathore who is an army man himself, understood their problem and facilitated ECHS clinic.  

Rathore had a vision for his constituency when he entered the election fray, which is why he started FM radio station in Kotputli, which is providing entertainment as well as important information on agriculture, education and general knowledge in the vicinity of 10km.

Before delimitation in 2001, Kotputli was part of Dausa Lok Sabha seat represented by late Rajesh Pilot father of PCC chief Sachin Pilot. People fondly remember him and say that development in this area is his legacy. Colonel Rathore is now taking quick decisions on development. People hope that soon their demand to make Kotputli district would also become reality.
