Rajasthan: Vistaraks to brief BJP on performance of leaders

It is introspection time for the BJP. Stung by the defeat in the recently held Assembly elections, the party has now decided to prepare the performance report of the leaders. The report will be prepared on the performance of leaders in the election. On the basis of their performance, leaders will be given the grade A, B and C. The report of top 25 senior leaders of each assembly constituency will be prepared and this work will be done by party Vistaraks.

The BJP had implemented the Parachark and the Vistarak model of RSS in the state to win assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. The BJP had deployed 200 Vistaraks in all the 200 assembly constituencies across the state.

The workers associated with the RSS and its frontal organisations were made Vistaraks. In the Assembly elections, the Vistaraks model of BJP did not succeed and the party had to face defeat. Four days ago, a meeting of Vistaraks was convened at the BJP state headquarters and the defeat of the party in the Assembly elections was reviewed. 

In this meeting, state organisational general secretary Chandrashekhar took the report of the assembly elections from each Vistarak. According to sources, the Vistaraks reported that the party defeat in the state Assembly elections was due to inactive workers of the party. Vistaraks informed Chandrashekhar that senior leaders did not do work as well during the election. Party leaders remained inactive at some places during the elections. After taking feedback from all the assembly constituencies, Chandrashekhar directed all Vistaraks to prepare the report of leaders of their respective areas. A Vistarak told DNA that Chandrashekhar has directed to prepare the report of the top 25 leaders of each assembly constituency. “We have to give three grade in A, B and C category to party leaders. These grades are (A) great work, (B) good work and (C) inactive. On the basis of performance in the assembly elections, 25 leaders of each assembly constituency will be given three grading,” said a Vistarak.

Grading will be given to the legislators, MLAs, public representatives of Urban Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj, state, district and Mandal office bearers, frontal organisation office-bearers and other senior leaders of the respective assembly constituency of each Vistarak
