After the reports of Gurjars squatting on the railway tracks came in, the Ashok Gehlot government got its act together and set up a committee to look into the demands of Gurjars, sources said.

Members of Gurjar community, laid siege to the railway tracks passing through a village in Sawai Madhopur on Friday evening. They are demanding 5 per cent reservation in government jobs.
After the reports of Gurjars squatting on the railway tracks came in, the Ashok Gehlot government got its act together and set up a committee to look into the demands of Gurjars, sources said.
The committee has on board, cabinet ministers Master Bhanwarlal, who is the social justice minister, Vishvendra Singh, tourism minister, and Raghu Sharma, the health minister, who will hold talks with the Gurjar leadership.
The police and administration in 14 districts have already been put on alert. There were talks of sending in IAS officer Neeraj K Pawan to Sawai Madhopur for engaging Gurjar leader Col Bhainsla in talks. He has been part of the teams which have persuaded Gurjars in past to end their agitation.
