Rajasthan: BJP’s special drive to strengthen grass-roots unit

BJP will launch a special campaign to strengthen its grassroot unit for the next ten days so that all 25 Lok Sabha seats can be won in the upcoming elections, which are scheduled in April-May this year. 

All BJP leaders and workers will strengthen their grass root unit by visiting each polling booth for ten days. During this, the strong team of the party workers will be formed on the weak booths. BJP national organisation general secretary Ramlal has given the state BJP unit a target to complete the work to strengthen the booth unit by March 2.

Ramlal was on a one-day tour to Jaipur on Monday. During this time, he took a meeting of the organisation office bearers at the BJP headquarters and reviewed the preparations for the Lok Sabha polls. According to sources, Ramlal stressed on strengthening party’s grass root unit. Ramlal said that polling booths should be divided into A, B, C and D categories on the basis of the party’s performance in LS elections 2014 and Assembly elections 2018.  The polling booths where party has always secured victory will be graded as “A”.

While in the booths where BJP had to face defeat once or twice will be in B grade. The booths with a higher percentage of defeat will be placed in C category. Booth on which BJP has never won will be in D category.  Party workers will be responsible for bringing polling booths of B, C and D grade to A grade so that the party can wins in upcoming LS elections.

Ramlal said before the upcoming LS polls, the organisation’s strong team should be formed on all polling booths and a new member will be added to the party daily at each polling booth.

He also instructed to make a separate list of sensitive polling booths in each LS constituency. Ramlal told the party leaders who wanted to contest the elections that the bio-data of the probable candidates will be taken by the party from March 2 for the LS polls. Various programmes of the organisation will be conducted by March 2. Every party worker should work for the organisation to make all programmes and campaigns successful.
