The programme will be held at 2.5 lakh Panchayat Samitis; The plan comes right before the Lok Sabha polls
Taking lessons from the defeat in the assembly elections of five states, which concluded recently, the BJP has now planned to woo the farmers’ vote bank. The saffron party will organise various programs of farmers across the country before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The BJP will hold “Kisan Kumbh “ at two and a half lakh Panchayat Samitis and more than seven thousand Krishi Mandis of the country. Through the Kisan Kumbh, the BJP will do branding of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will make the farmers pledge to make Modi prime minister once again.
In the assembly elections of five states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the BJP had to face defeat. Congress had announced to waive off farmers’ loan during campaigning for the assembly elections. Because of which the farmer vote bank came with the Congress and the BJP got out of power in three states. The farmers have been angry with the BJP for the last two years. In many states, they protested for the demand of bank loan waiver.
Now, the BJP is trying to bring the farmers in its favour so that the party can win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. BJP has entrusted the task of targeting the Kisan Vote Bank by Kisan Morcha and has scheduled a two-month program for it. BJP Kisan Morcha will organise farmers’ programs throughout the country in January and February.
Through farmers Kumbh, information will be given about various schemes of Narendra Modi government and the achievements it will be mentioned. In this program, posters and banners of Prime Minister Modi will be installed and printed booklets of achievements of the Modi Government in the local language of the respective state will be distributed to the farmers. In the month of February, the national convention of the BJP Kisan Morcha will be in held Prayagraj (Allahabad). BJP’s national leaders, office bearers of Kisan Morcha and leaders of BJP’s supporter farmers’ organisations will take part in the event. BJP will launch “Mati Tilak Partigya Campaign” at the national convention and this campaign will be run across the country.
