As the entire nation is mourning the CRPF soldiers, who attained martyrdom in terrorist attack in Pulwama, the BJP yesterday organised a Shradhanjali Sabha at the party headquarters to pay tributes to bravehearts, who laid down their lives for the motherland.
The Rashtriya Sawayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and other social organisations also held condolence meeting at Statue Circle on Friday evening.
A candle march was also taken out from Statue Circle to condemn Pakistan’s role in the cowardly and dastardly act.
Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) gathered at the entrance gate of Rajasthan University and raised slogans against Pakistan and paid tributes to the martyrs.
The public resentment is rising against the terrorist attack and various organisations in Jaipur demanded that the government take firm and decisive action against Pakistan.
At the condolence meeting organised at BJP state headquarters on Friday, national joint secretary (organisation) V Satish, national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna, state president Madan Lal Saini and other senior leaders paid rich tributes to CRPF soldiers.
During the meeting a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect. BJP state president Madan Lal Saini said sacrifice of martyrs will not go in vain. Terrorists and their sponsors will be given the right answer. BJP’s national vice president and state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna said: “The people of Jammu and Kashmir want peace and nefarious designs of the terrorists will be defeated. The government is committed to crushing terrorism and the supreme sacrifice of our soldiers will not go in vain.”
