Another legislator of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan, Dharmpal Chaudhary, passed away due to illness on Thursday.  Six BJP leaders including three MLAs and two MPs have died in the last nine months in the state.

Chaudhary, legislator of Mundawar in Alwar district, breathed his last at around 3:15 am on Thursday. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje went to Chaudhary’s native village to participate in the funeral. The CM expressed her condolences and paid floral tribute to him. 

With Chaudhary, the BJP has lost six senior leaders in nine months. Union Minister and Ajmer MP Sanwar Lal Jat and Alwar MP Mahant Chandnath died due to illness. Later MLA Mandalgarh Kirti Kumari and MLA Kalyan Singh also died due to illness. The party also lost former medical and health minister Dr Digambar Singh.
