Now that the process of election is over and people have elected 199 MLA’s, it’s now time for the assembly season in coming days. While this time, many leaders who have been seasoned MLA’s won’t be seen around as they have lost the elections this time, there will be equal first time MLA’s present in the house.
Leaders like Ghanshyam Tiwari, Prabhulal Saini, Yoonus Khan, Rajpal Singh Shekhawat and many others won’t be seen in the assembly and it will be for the first time that deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot will be seen in the assembly after winning his maiden assembly election from Tonk while leaders like Deepender Singh Shekhawat who was speaker during 13th assembly, Congress leader CP Joshi, Raghu Sharma etc will also be seen in the assembly. Harish Meena, who has just resigned as MP of Dausa will be present in the house for the first time as MLA. He had been previously coming to the house and used to sit in officer gallery as DGP of the state.
As per the tradition of the house, there will be an address of the governor wherein he will be bringing to light the focus areas of the new government. Department of general administration has therefore asked the departments to inform about their plans and the remaining works of the year which can be included in the speech of the governor.
The officials have been directed that the information given by them should not be more than 10 lines and which could come in one page so that not much editing is required to be done on that note. Moreover, the additional chief secretary or the principal secretary or secretary will have to put their signatures on every page of the information which is sent to the government.
Wherever any amount has been mentioned it should be mentioned in words also. The governor address will be focusing on plans and programs of the government based on its manifesto. During this session, government will be presenting the budget and its expected that budget session may be called in last week of January or early February.
