JAIPUR
The counting of one random polling booth will happen for every Assembly constituencies.
The counting of votes for 19 Assembly seats in Jaipur district will begin from 8am on Tuesday. Since this time VVPAT machines will also be used for counting, therefore it is being speculated that it will take a little bit more time in declaration of results than in 2013 Assembly elections.
The VVPAT slips of one polling booth of each Assembly seat will also be counted and this will take some time thus adding to the total time taken for counting of votes. The counting of one random polling booth will happen for every Assembly constituencies. Counting for Jaipur will be held in Commerce College and Rajasthan College. Counting for 10 Assembly seats will be held in Commerce College while for the remaining 9 seats of Jaipur it will be held in Rajasthan College.
Out of these 19 seats, counting for maximum 27 rounds will be held for Dudu Assembly seat while least 16 rounds will be held for Hawa Mahal constituency.
For Jhotwara and Phulera counting in 26 rounds will be held while for Amber 25 rounds of counting will be done. There will be 23 round of counting each for Chomu Kotputli and Bassi while 22 rounds counting would be held each for Jamwaramgarh, Chaksu, Bagru and Sanganer. 21 rounds of counting will be done for Vidyadhar Nagar while 20 rounds each counting will be done for Civil Lines, Adarsh Nagar and Shahpura Constituency. 18 rounds of counting each will be done for Malviya Nagar, Kishanpol and for Virat Nagar counting in 17 rounds will be done.
Counting for Shahpura, Bassi, Jamwaramgarh Malviya Nagar, Chaksu, Adarsh Nagar, Virat Nagar, Amber, Bagru and Civil Lines will be done in Commerce College.
Similarly counting for Phulera, Sanganer, Jhotwara, Hawa Mahal, Vidyadhar Nagar, Chomu, Kishanpol, Dudu and Kotputli will be done in Rajasthan College.
Giving the information district election officer Siddharth Mahajan informed that officials involved in the counting process will have to enter their designated counting place by 6 am.
After that nobody will be allowed to enter inside the place where counting will be done and no one will be allowed after 8 am. Once entering the venue a person cannot come inside if one goes out.
