The headquarters of BJP, which was in power in the state, bore a deserted look  a day after the counting for the assembly elections in Rajasthan was conducted.

The front of lawns of the party office, which was until yesterday, teeming with workers and leaders, looked abandoned with only a handful of persons roaming about the party premises. Only BJP state president, Madan Lal Saini, was seen conversing with some of the workers while basking udner the noon sun.

There were reports of the party holding a meeting to decide on the Leader of the Opposition, but they were unfounded. The BJP returned with figures of 73 MLAs compared to the 156 with which it had gone to polls in state.
