Raghu Sharma seeks Kalicharan Saraf’s apology

A day after the picture of health minister Kalicharan Saraf answering the call of nature on the roadside went viral, the media was anxiously waiting for the minister at the gate of the assembly on Wednesday morning.

His picture was the topic of morning gossip among the ministers and MLA’s who were seen smiling and avoiding the question on this topic. The waiting media would seek comments from every minister and MLA who came to the assembly in the morning. The media’s wait for Saraf got longer as till the start of the house at 11 am, the minister was not seen. He entered a few minutes later in the house after the question hour had started.

Almost everybody avoided saying anything on record on this sensitive issue.  While UDH minister Shrichand Kriplani refused to comment saying he was unable to identify saraf in the picture.However, most were in splits as media approached them for their reactions. Few were also shown the viral picture by the media.

However, newly elected Ajmer MP Dr Raghu Sharma who had come to the assembly on Wednesday said that Saraf should apologize publicly for doing such thing. On Wednesday evening, saraf came in front of media while coming out of the house and quickly left saying he had taken back the order referring to an order of ban on media entry in SMS hospital. Notably, on Tuesday a picture went viral across the social media.
