The police department has completed all the required preparations for the written examination to be held on Saturday and Sunday for 13,142 posts advertised for constable recruitment exam in Rajasthan Police. An appeal has been made to the candidates and their guardians to assist in conduct of peaceful examination by abiding to the given instructions on the admit card.

Director general of police OP Galhotra organised a meeting of senior police officers in the police headquarters on Friday morning and reviewed the preparations made for the examination across the state. Galhotra urged the candidates to keep their focus on the preparation for the exam and not to believe on any rumours. He also said that security arrangements have been made in a comprehensive manner to ensure exam he held without any interruption.

In the meeting, the ADG  Rajeev Sharma and incharge of all the ranges in the state informed about the arrangements made for the exam in their respective ranges. Sharma informed that continuous surveillance is being kept against anti-social elements who are trying to disrupt the examination. In the matter, about two dozen people have been arrested in Jodhpur, Bikaner and Sikar, and action is being taken against them.

After interrogating the culprits arrested in the case, it has become clear that fraud is being done in the name of help to aid clearing of the examination. Sharma added that strict action will be taken against those who try to create any kind of disturbance. Inspector general police recruitment Dr Prashakha said that the candidates have to follow all the guidelines to get an entry in the exam hall. The applicants have to carry admit letter,  passport size photo, two transparent ballpoint pens and a government issued photo ID.

Any type of electronic items are not allowed inside the examination premises. Also, the candidates will have to follow the dress code of wearing half sleeves clothes among other things. The entry will start 30 minutes before the exam begins.
