PCC chief Sachin Pilot to attend Harvard India Conference

Pilot would deliver the keynote address at the conference on the theme, ‘India - at an Inflection Point’.

PCC chief and deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot will be attending the 16th edition of the “Harvard India Conference” being organised by Harvard University in Boston, USA on Monday. Pilot would deliver the keynote address at the conference on the theme, ‘India - at an Inflection Point’.

The conference will have prominent speakers in the field of politics, business and media from India. The annual conference is jointly organized by students of Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. 

The theme taken up at the conference includes topics touching upon Indian politics, the media, the economy and the judiciary.

Speakers invited for the same include those from varying fields including the legal community. Sadhguru, Asaduddin Owaisi, Aruna Roy, Tanushree Dutta, SS Rajamouli, Pa Ranjith, Nagraj Manjule, Arvind Subramanian, Shradha Sharma, Anand Piramal are among the speakers who have been invited for the event.

Pilot’s address will cover areas ranging from demographic, diplomatic, economic, human resources and technological opportunities and challenges before the nation. “Harvard is one of the world’s pre-eminent centres of excellence. There are thousands of Indians in the student body and faculty who represent India’s thought leadership in the institution’, Pilot said.

Post the conference, the Overseas unit of the Congress Party, the Indian Congress (OIC) which is headed by Sam Pitroda, would host a reception in Boston in the deputy CM’s honour where Pilot will interact with professionals and prominent members of the Indian community. 

Pilot will have meetings and exchange of ideas with several leaders of industry and academia.
