Now, Jaipur Municipal Corporation engineers to monitor cleanliness in the city
JMC has deployed engineering, revenue and electrical cell officials for monitoring the city’s cleanliness.
Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) engineers, who are monitoring the construction works of road, footpath and development works, will now monitor the cleanliness in the city.
Engineers will take the attendance of the cleaning staff and click the photo, after seeing the garbage on the road, and send it to the higher officials. JMC has deployed engineering, revenue and electrical cell officials for monitoring the city’s cleanliness. For 91 wards in the city, 91 officers have been deployed. During the Swachh Survekshan- 2018, Mayor Ashok Lahoti had deployed all the officers for monitoring the sanitation system of the city.
After the survey was over, all officers were removed and the sanitation staff were also reduced. In the last four months, the city’s sanitation system has collapsed. With the eye on the upcoming assembly elections, the municipal corporation has once again put the officers of various cells on cleanliness system.
