Minor raped, choked to death in Jhalawar

The body of a six-year-old girl, who had gone missing from Chota Raipur village under Jhalawar city police station area on Wednesday, was found  in an agriculture field on Thursday. Police suspected the girl belonging to Bheel community was raped and choked to death. The culprits also smashed her head with a stone.

The body was today noon handed over to the family members after postmortem by medical board at SRG hospital. A case of rape and murder under sections 376 and 302 of IPC and sections of POSCO Act was lodged against the unidentified accused in this connection. Police teams have been formed to trace the accused and efforts are underway to nab them, the police said, adding family members did not name any suspect.
