The temple is situated on Sagar road in Amber area of Jaipur. As the news of the damage done to the temple reached the locals, they got angry and rushed to the spot and called for police action. As if  this was not enough, the locals also found meat being cooked near the old temples, making everybody very angry.

Giving the information, Bharat Sharma from Dharohar Bachao Samiti informed that the temple comes under a very safe heritage and is about 5,000 years old.

Sharma claimed that the unit of the movie had been camping at the Khirni gate on Sagar Road and were eating meat near the old temple hurting the religious sentiments. He also wrote a letter to police regarding this.

Notably this is a very famous temple and people come here in large numbers as many folk stories are associated with the temple. However, this is not the first time that any such place has got damaged during film shooting.  In 2009 , a wall of Amber fort had collapsed while a movie of actor Salman Khan was being shot.
