Ahuja has said that Nehru was not a Pandit and the Congress had put pundit prefix on his name.

“Nehru was not a pandit, one who ate beef and pork, cannot be a Pandit. Congress has put pundit in front of his name,” claimed Ahuja at the BJP headquarters on Friday. Ahuja also accused the Congress of contesting elections in the name of casteism.

Ramgarh (Alwar) MLA who came to BJP office a day before the national president Rahul Gandhi’s visit, was racting to the statement of PCC chief Sachin Pilot where he had said that Rahul had learnt going to temples from his grandmother Indira Gandhi.

Ahuja said, “Rahul Gandhi has never visited temples with Indira Gandhi. If my claim is wrong, I will quit my post or Sachin Pilot should quit his post.”

Ahuja raised the question on Rahul’s proposed temple visit and asked “Pilot, Gehlot or Gulab Nabi should tell that when was the yagyopaveet sanskar of Rahul done. A jaenu (sacred thread) is worn only after Yagyopaveet.”
