Jaipur: Now, Baal Sabha of govt school kids

The Baal Sabha (Child meet) of government school students will be organised on every Saturday of the month. The Baal Sabha will be held at a public place of the concerned village and Gram Panchayat. Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara will be present himself in the Baal Sabha which is scheduled to be held on Saturday in Govind Garh Panchayat Samiti of Jaipur district.

The Baal Sabha will include students of primary and upper primary classes from 1st to 8th grade. The concurrence of Baal Sabha in government schools is a step towards quality improvement in education and co-education sector. 

Baal Sabha will be organised every Saturday along with ‘Joyful Saturday’ which is organised on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. The education department has issued orders in this regard. Eighty-minute time has been fixed for the Baal Sabha out of which twenty minutes have been prescribed for its preparation and sixty minutes for the conduct of the session. The Education Department has issued instructions to all the government school heads which deems it necessary to organise a Baal Sabha every Saturday. School heads will be able to reduce the class period timing of 10 minutes for Baal Sabha. 

Baal sabha will be held in the nearby public place of the school. Minister of State for education Govind Singh Dotasara has given the responsibility of inspection of Baal Sabha across the state. Officials of the Education Department will join the Baal Sabha on January 19 and submit their report to the Education Minister thereafter. Education Minister will attend a Baal Sabha of a government school located at Bhojlawa village of Govindgarh Panchayat Samiti in Jaipur district on Saturday.

Through this event, parents will be able to see their children’s expression, learning level, knowledge and presentation skills. “I have expressed hope that this initiative of direct interaction with parents and teachers in school will ensure that quality of education improves in government schools”, said MoS for Education, Dotasara.
