This is claimed by an article which appeared in Shivira Patrika, monthly magazine of Rajasthan’s Secondary education department.

Titled ‘Prachin Bharaat aur Vigyan (Ancient India and science), the article is written by Deepak Joshi who is a government school teacher from Bikaner, and is part of the February issue of the magazine.

The verbatim paragraph goes like this: “Albert Einstein ne bhi kai bar prachin Bhartiya grantho ki prasangsa ki thi. Hitler bhi prachin bhartiya grantho par adhyan kar time machine banana chahte the (Albert Einstein had praised ancient Indian texts several times. Hitler also studied ancient Indian books and wanted to make a time machine)”.

The article also mentions that APJ Abdul Kalam had said several times that he was inspired to make missiles from ancient Indian texts. Maharishi Vishwamitra was regarded as the father of astronomical science in ancient India. He (Vishwamitra) had received Astra (weapons) from Lord Shiva.
