MLA from Lacchmangarh, Dotasara said that health officials recently held a programme to inaugurate a Primary Health Care (PHC) in Jajod village, which falls under his constituency.
Congress whip Govind Singh Dotasara alleged that the government officials did not invite him in inauguration programme of development works, despite it was held in his own constituency.
Dotasara warned that he would bring a privilege motion against the officials as it was against the ruling of the speaker Kailash Meghwal and the circular issued by chief secretary office which mandated officials to ensure invitations to local representatives in government programes.
MLA from Lacchmangarh, Dotasara said that health officials recently held a programme to inaugurate a Primary Health Care (PHC) in Jajod village, which falls under his constituency.
BJP leaders including Sikar MP Sumedhanand, Soldier Welfare Board Chairman Prem Singh Bajor and UIT chairman Hariram Rinwa were sent invitation to attend the programme, though he was left out ‘deliberately’.
“The PHC was sanctioned by previous Gehlot government. At the time of inaugurating it the health officials did not send me any invitation,” said the party whip expressing anger. Dotasara alleged that the officials deliberately did this and he would raise the issue on the floor during next assembly session.
“Post my protest the officials were on the back foot. They did not attend the programme, but the BJP leaders came and inaugurated the centre. I am going to list a question in the coming session of assembly asking whether it was a government or a party function. If I get the reply that it was a government function then I would bring a privilege motion against the officials,” said Dotasara.
The party whip claimed that officials sidelined not only the chief secretary’s order, but the assembly speaker Kailash Meghwal’s ruling.
