After Mayawati's decision to go it alone in the upcoming elections in Rajasthan, the focus is again on Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, who would be taking a call on distribution of tickets in the state.

Former chief minister Gehlot and Pradesh Congress Committee chief Pilot have been engaged in a game of one-upmanship in the state.

Sources said observers in Rajasthan, who have been collecting data on the winnability of candidates seeking tickets from the party, are ready with their reports.

However, the call on ticket distribution is not going to be a battle of wits between Gehlot and Pilot.

"There are two other heavyweights who have been asked to give their feedback on areas they have come to represent in Rajasthan.

"Former Union minister CP Joshi and leader of the Opposition in Vidhan Sabha, Rameshwar Dudi have been contacted by the party high command for their feedback on Udaipur and Bikaner divisions respectively," a party official said.

Dudi, in fact, is playing an important role in the upcoming visit of Congress president Rahul Gandhi to Bikaner.

He has been camping there and is making all arrangements for the party president's visit, an official said.

The Congress, which was mulling a seat-sharing agreement with the BSP, has said it is contesting the elections on its own in all 200 assembly constituencies. Rajasthan Congress refused to comment on Mayawati's charges. "As the central party leadership is looking into the matter, the state unit cannot comment on it," said Archana Sharma, Congress spokesperson.
